We have one of those big round dog beds, but it doesn't have a zipper or velcro with which to remove the cover for washing. I don't have any sewing supplies, or I'd sew one on. I'm not going to be able to get a sewing kit or anything for a while, so what would you guys suggest for home laundering?
Here is my best picture of the bed:

I'd take it to a laundromat with front loader washers. I'm sure it will wash just fine but probably wouldn't fit too well into a top-loader. Then go to your local thrift store and buy a few cheap washable blankets to put on top–and any blanket from a thrift store is likely to be something you can toss in a washer, even if it's wool. I see the cats appreciate the bed too.

You can take them to the laundromat and wash it in a really big washer but it will probably explode. I'd take it to the car wash and spay it with the pressure washer and let it dry in the sun.

Fill up your laundry sink with some laundry detergent and maybe some stain remover and let it sit for a while, this will get the odor out, then just scrub it down with a bristle brush to get any stains or dirt out. Once done rinse well and let it dry.
